Building a birdhouse is an activity that includes many steps such identifying the need, designing a plan, deciding what materials and tools to use, and creating and testing prototypes. This assessment aims to demonstrate student understanding of basic design processes and approaches which are applied in a real life context.
Objectives:
Students will be able to:

Describe properties of materials used and why they are good for building a birdhouse.
